In ~/.afterstep/database, edit the Wharf lines and remove "Layer 4" (or whatever number it is set to. Then it should be possible to cover it with other windows. Works like a charm. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Daniel A. The problem is that when there are several windows open, when I close a window, especially when the app. has >1 windows opened, a "random" window from another app. will rise to the top and receive focus instead of the window in the app that had focus and was on top when the window was opened.? I then have to find the proper window and bring it back up.? It appears to usually be a window the mouse is over, but not sure, seems randomish.? Is there a way to fix this within my feel file?? If there's another forum / bug system I should report this in, please let me know.? Thanks! I'm using: ClickToFocus 1 No other "Raise" or "Focus" options.
